BREAKING – G4S heist leads to numerous hijackings

The white Volkswagen Golf 7 believed to have been involved in the G4S hijacking last night was found abandoned in the parking lot of Highveld Mall.

LCRC members working on the scene where the white Golf 7 was abandoned after the G4S heist earlier the evening of December 7.

This was after the five suspects hijacked a eight-month pregnant woman of her gold Toyota Etios, the woman managed to escape and called for help, the hijackers then made their way to Saveways Crescent where they hijacked a red Evoque Range Rover, the hijackings and car switching continued through the evening with at least three other vehicles being hijacked.
