A vehicle was left unattended for two and a half hours, within that time the vehicle was stolen.

On Tuesday evening, November 8 at 18:45 Mr JDT Henning parked his vehicle, a blue Volkswagen Jetta at about 18:45 at the church on the corner of De Kock and Steve Bantu Biko Street.

He alleged that he locked all the doors of the car and the windows were closed.

When he returned to his vehicle that same evening at 20:30 he looked for his vehicle but it was no where in sight.

“I know for a fact that the car was locked and the windows were all closed,” said Henning.

A search was conducted for the vehicle within the area, but the car was nowhere to be found.

“A number of vehicles have been stolen in the month,” said Captain Eddie Hall, spokesperson from Witbank SAPS.
