Armed robbery at a schools on the hike

Recently a 45-year-old teacher was robbed of cash, a handbag, car keys, cell phone and retail cards all valued at R7 000. The incident happened on Tuesday, October 11 at about 16:00 at Leornard Ntshuntshe Secondary School.

It appears that the victim has just arrived at the school from the city from shopping groceries. The groceries were bought for the school pupils ahead of a matric farewell. She had requested some students to offload the groceries from her car. In the proces two unknown males approached her and took the items while pointing at her with a firearm. They took above items and left in a Volkswagen Sedan white in colour.

According to the police repoprt no shots were fired and injuries were sustained and no suspect is has been arrested. All the above items are valued at R22 000.

The police further said that for the past three months four schools were affected by the same attack which require a societal and collective intervention
