Bridge crossing painted around eMalahleni

“Just a coat of paint and a bit of tar will make a big change within the city,”

One man and his team have taken the initiative to paint the bridge crossings in eMalahleni with wisdom of past leaders of the country.

Jacob Msimango project leader came up with the idea, to paint memorials onto the walls of the bridges just to give them a new lease of life.

“The bridges in the city and the informal settlements will be painted and it’s only half the difference we are doing,” said Jacob.

The next part of the project is to fix most of the potholes in the city.

The bridge crossing Jellicoe Street has been painted with wisdom of past leaders.

“The reason why I decided to do this is to beautify the city. It needs this change.”

Jacob and his team will be focusing on the OR Tambo and Nelson Mandela Road for three months.

“Just a coat of paint and a bit of tar will make a big change within the city,” said Jacob.
