A family from eMalahleni were travelling in their vehicle when a truck crashed into the back of it, leaving their daughter in a critical condition.
The accident happened on Thursday, August 4 in eMalahleni, according to people who knows the family. They stopped at a robot and waited for the robot to change to green, before they knew it a truck collided into the back of the vehicle.
Their two year old daughter that was seated in the back seat sustained serious injuries from the impact. She was rushed to Life Cosmos Hospital then stabilized and then transferred to another hospital.
The two year old was placed on a ventilator and her parents sat by her bedside day and night. She had swelling on the brain, which has come down and she had a lot more movement in her right side of her body.
This family’s friends and family have been saying many prayers for the little girl for a full recovery.
“Our angel is fighting. But we want to thank everyone for their prayers and support during this time, but please continue to pray for our baby,” said the father.
