A suspect beleieved to have involvement in the SBV robbery of 2014, has been arrested by members in Ga-Nala.
He, along with seven other suspects were arrested after a blazing shootout took place in Bosbok Street on Sunday July 31.

Investigations into the gang’s misdeeds lead the Hawks to Ga-Nala on the trail of the BMW that had been hijacked that morning. A joint effort by the task force, local CPF, security company and local police members led to eight arrests and recovery of multiple stolen vehicles as well as a large amount of explosives.
Two members in the Hawks were wounded in the fire fight, and one of the suspects was fatally shot.
The eight suspects are to appear in the Kriel Magistrates Court on Tuesday August 2 facing a number of criminal charges.
