Two cases of theft were reported last week to Witbank Police Station.

On Monday, June 20 at approximately 15:25 a case was opened which occurred on Tuesday, April 26.
Mr Jappie Maselela was driving a dark green Toyota Corolla in Roger Street and alleged that his vehicle was battling to drive any further and just managed to get to the long distance taxi rank.

One of the women that drove with him allegedly contacted a person to come fix the car.
Maselela’s vehicle was taken to the mechanics at a garage to get his vehicle fixed.
On Monday, June 20 he went to enquire about his vehicle, when he got there he found his vehicle was stolen.

“I still have not found my car, life is difficult without your own transport,” said Maselela.

In the second incident that was reported to Witbank Police Station, Mr Johannes Smit alleged that on Monday, June 20 at 13:30 he left the storeroom in order and it was locked at the Power Station he works at.

The four containers on the premises were all locked and the following morning when he returned to the workshop they noticed that items were stolen from the storeroom and the containers.
