The South African Police in Vosman under the acting station commander Colonel One Thobejane are on a drive together with members of the community policing forum conducting patrols and neighborhood watch to ensure that community based crime is prevented.
They therefore brought to book the following suspects behind bars: two for house robbery, one for business robbery, one for armed robbery, four for common robbery, one for malicious damage to property and common robbery, two for possession of dagga, one for possession of drugs, one for child abuse, one for contempt of court, one for contravention of a protection order, one for robbery, one for murder, 13 for assault with grievous bodily harm, three for common assault, two for house breaking and theft, six for theft, one for not ensuring the safe keeping of vicious dogs and one for reckless and negligent driving.
In total 42 suspects were arrested over a week.
