Vosman Police Station officers are investigating a case of hijacking and perjury.
They reported that on Thursday, April 28 a 29 year old man was arrested. The arrest follow a hijacking case, reported by them on Friday, April 8, when he reported and gave the scenario of what happened and it was recorded, signed under oath.
The van that was supposed to have been hijacked, a suspect has been arrested for perjury.
According to the police the case was investigated and it came out that he was not telling the truth. He was then traced and found driving the same vehicle he reported to have being hi-jacked. He was then arrested and will appear in court after thorough verification of his alibi.
The owner of the vehicle found it hard to believe when Vosman police called him and he saw his employee and the vehicle.
