The Witbank SAPS in co –operation with the Community Policing Forum (CPF) members arrested 75 suspects the past week.
The suspects were arrested for the following crimes committed. Five people arrested for shoplifting, four for driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, five for general theft, nine for assault cases, six for possession and dealing in drugs, five for possession of suspected stolen property, six for malicious damage to property, two for domestic violence, three for housebreaking, one for pointing of a firearm, two illegal immigrants arrested, four selling liquor without license, one for intimidation, one for contravening of a protection order, one for possession of an unlicensed firearm, two for theft of motor vehicle, two for theft out of motor vehicle, three for rape, two for defeating the ends of justice, four arrested for fraud, two for common robbery, two for business break-in, one for corruption and two for reckless or negligent driving.
