The campaign of motivating and empowering Grade 12’s kicked off early in February where Sport Wrap Foundation and Nedbank took their time visiting the eMalahleni high schools to teach them about financial well being and taking their studies seriously.

“Our matriculants need to be financial literate by the time they pass Grade 12 since making financial decisions will start as early as they leave school and start life in tertiary institutions” said Amu Mages from Nedbank.

Sport Wrap founder Trevor Dube said it’s pivotal to invest in the youth of the city if we want to beat the social ills that are currently facing our city.

“This campaign will be visible and vigorously presented to all the eMalahleni high schools throughout the year of 2016. The students were also given a chance to ask questions where they had grey areas. We thank acting principal of Kopanang Secondary School Mr Mpumi Mofokeng for an open mind allowing the students to be equipped with this information,” stated Trevor Dube.
