Man dead after eMalahleni floods

Torrential downpour caused the death of a young man in the late hours of Friday 11 March

The rain we received was a blessing and a curse as everybody found out on the evening of 11 March.

Roads were flooded with an enormous amount of rain with OR Tambo being backed up for kilometers and residents scattering to prevent water damage as well. The bridge at Second Avenue in Blancheville fell victim to the force of the rain as it collapsed on Friday 11 March and dragging a minibus taxi along with it.
