The Witbank Police in co-operation with the Community Policing Forum members made 68 arrests throughout the weekly operations.
Police made 10 arrests for the possession and dealing in drugs, eight arrests for the possession of suspected stolen property, eight for assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, nine for shoplifting and seven for general theft.
Additional police made three arrests for driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, two for malicious damage to property, two for selling liquor without a license, two for common robbery, one for intimidation, five for theft out of a motor vehicle, one for business robbery, four arrests for cruelty to animals, one for perjury, three for defeating the ends of justice and two for illegal immigration.
