10 arrested for shoplifting

Witbank Police in co-operation with the CPF members arrested 69 suspects over the past week.

The arrests include 10 for shoplifting, nine for driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, six for theft general, 15 for assault and eight for the possession of and dealing in drugs.

Additionally there were seven arrests for the possession of suspected stolen property, three malicious damage to property, three for selling of liquor without a license, one for the possession of a dangerous weapon, two for fraud, two for defeating the ends of justice, one for the possession of an unlicensed firearm and two for common robbery.
