Imanuel flies with five distinctions

Imanuel a pupil of Bonginsimbi Comprehensive School in Ackerville scored in: Sepedi (Home Language) – 84% (7), English Language 74% (6), Mathematics 99% (7), Life Orientation 83% (7) Business Studies 89% (7), Life Sciences 79 (6) and Physical Science (98) (7).

The first born child stays with both his parents at Old Coronation in Lekazi Section together with his siblings, a 12 year-old sister and six year younger brother.

“I study a lot preparing for the examinations last year, putting a great effort in the other subjects excluding Mathematics and Physical Science. In Maths and Science I was help by being involved in the Kutlwanong Study Programme. I even helped by teaching Grade 11’s in Maths and Science preparing for their exams during my examination time last year, it helped me a lot,” emphasised Imanuel.

Imanuel was placed third in the whole province of Mpumalanga for his Maths grades (99%) and was part of the students that were guest to Mpumalanga MEC of education Mrs Reginah Mhaule at Amsterdam on Wednesday, January 6 after the results were announced.

He has applied at University of Pretoria (UP) and Wits University to study Actuarial Science, Actuarial Science is the discipline that applies mathematical and statistical method to assess risk in insurance, finance and other industries and professions. He has been accepted at Wits University and still waiting for UP for a response.
His message to other young people is that they should work in advance and dream big as achievements are based on dreams.

“They should also ask for help if they encounter problems. I had challenges but I managed to overcome them.”
Imanuel was on Ligwalagwala FM and on the Morning Live in television.

He said his parents were very proud and happy for him and did not believe he would be such an achiever.

“I would like to work and analyse and manage the financial consequences of risk and use mathematical techniques and models to improve the economy of the country,” added Imanuel.
