Mr Mosia said this during the Nkangala sports awards ceremony held at the Witbank High School hall recently. He said the cream of our sportspeople who were present should be celebrated. He indicated that through sports talents were identified and need to be supported like with the case of Mbombela United who is currently playing the National First Division (NFD).

“We also have a netball team as well as an athletics teams under our wings, we are not only supporting them but developing them as well for the future. There is a package set for them to go to Kenya for training. The main purpose is to improve at national championships. We need to revive sports from grassroots level and in schools. We will involve the private sector to come on board. The selection criteria will change as from next year,” stated Mr Mosia.
