Ian was selected as the u.19 player of the year

At the Mpumalanga Rugby Union 2015 Awards, Ian Truter, a former student of Laerskool Kragbron and Hoërskool Tegnies Witbank, was awarded the recognised as the u.19 player of the year.

Ian Truter was awarded the u.19 player of the year at the Mpumalanga Rugby Union awards, with him is his coach Willie Oosthuizen.

In November Ian joined up with the Lowveld 7’s team to play in the Mbombela 7’s Tournament and underwent fitness and conditioning training with the Steval Pumas.
