Sex delivered to your doorstep

It's happening under your nose...

Door to door deliveries have been taken to a whole new level after a travelling escort agency opened its doors in eMalahleni.
Whether you are in Bronkhorstpruit, eMalahleni or any surrounding areas prostitutes will be ‘delivered’ to your doorstep.

There are no billboards announcing this new ‘business’ and it is not advertised on any dustbins or poles in eMalahleni. But on Facebook this travelling escort agency is telling it all.
The client has a choice between what they call ‘ebony’ and ‘coloured girls’
For services of the ‘coloured girl’, clients will fork out a bit more than the ‘ebony’ girls.
According to their page a quickie with the ‘coloured girl’ will set the client back R300, but for an ‘ebony’ girl you will only pay R200 for the same service.

Their hourly rates vary between R300 and R400 per hour.
When reading through the posts you will stumble upon a post posted on November 18.
It reads as follows:

“Please all married in relationship guys, block the number for our service and unblock when needed. Crazy wives and girlfriends causing my number to be blocked on whatsapp are causing major financial loss to the business.”

This is how the travelling escort agency advertises their services on
Facebook.

“The damage done to relationships and marriages are incalculable. You buy the smiles and affection with a currency that destroys you as a person,” a psychiatrist who wishes to stay anonymous said.
“The harsh reality is that these girls are good actors. It is not rocket science, they know exactly how to keep their ‘regulars’ returning,” she said.

WITBANK NEWS contacted 24-year old Carmia Greyvenstein who is administrating the escort agency’s Facebook page.
She was given the chance twice to come to WITBANK NEWS and tell her side of the story, but failed to do so.
Prostitution and brothels are still illegal.

There was a debate that prostitution may increase during the 2010 Football World Cup and calls were made that the trade be legalised and regulated.

There was little evidence of increased prostitution, and no changes were made to the laws.
Under the Sexual Offences Act it clearly states that any person, who has unlawful carnal intercourse or commits an act of indecency with any other person for reward, is guilty of an offence.
Besides it being against the law to earn money from prostitution, sex workers have been blamed for contributing to the spread of AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases.

“Brothels and prostitution will not be tolerated in eMalahleni,” said Capt Ediie Hall, police spokesperson. Capt Hall said prostitution is escalating.

In the same breath he said the focus in not only on street prostitutes but also brothels.

“Any one, who lives in a brothel, manages or knowingly receives money from a brothel, knowingly permits a building to be used as a brothel, is found in a brothel and refuses to disclose the name of the keeper, and the spouse of any person who keeps a brothel will be arrested. This means if a client is found on the premises, he too will be arrested under the Sexual Offences Act,” Capt Hall explained.

Capt Hall asked the public to le the police know if they are aware of any brothels in the city. Residents can phone 0800 10111 or 013 655 5052 to report illegal activities.
