Patrolling then held at gunpoint

He was patrolling with his colleague when they were approached by two unknown men who were both armed.

While on duty and patrolling business property, a guard was held at gunpoint and tied up.

On Tuesday, September 15 at 01:00 Mr Abedi Jefu was on duty at a business on the Bethal Road.
He was patrolling with his colleague when they were approached by two unknown men who were both armed.

The suspects then ordered Jefu and his colleague to lie down and told them not to scream as they were tied up.
Then it was quiet for a while and they managed to stand up to see what was going on, when they came across to other colleagues patrolling.

Jefu then discovered that robbers stole items worth R40 800 and got away, no shots were fired.
The suspects gained entry by cutting a hole in the fence around the premises.
