The docket has been transferred to the Middelburg Trio Task Team for further investigation.
Police spokesperson, Captain Khanyisile Zwane said the suspect is still in custody.
He is kept anonymous because he has not pleaded yet.

The suspect was arrested on Saturday, June 6 in the quiet suburb of Uthingo Park in Tasbetpark.
The suspect and his cohorts fled to Uthingo Park after they rolled their vehicle on the N4 highway in an attempt to escape the police. They robbed Total Sport in the neighbouring town earlier the morning. Police were catching up to them when the driver lost control of the vehicle.

Two of the four suspects ran into the housing complex and tried to hijack a SBV-vehicle.
In the crossfire between them and the police one of the suspects, and also a civilian, Mr Motseki Joshua Mabatla was shot. They both died in Witbank Hospital.

The police recovered an unlicensed firearm, ammunition and a cell phone.
The other two suspects are still at large.
