More than 70 suspects were put behind bars at the Vosman Police Station during their operations to prevent crime in the policing area.
One suspect was arrested for assault GBH and attempted rape, one for assault GBH and malicious damage to property, seven for shoplifting, one for attempted burglary, 12 for assault GBH, two entering the country illegally, one for rape, three for dealing in drugs, one for sentenced to be fined, four for possession of dagga, one for attempted housebreak, four for malicious damage to property, one for interfering with police while on duty and defeating the ends of justice, one for contravention of a protection order, three for stock theft, two for housebreaking and theft, one for theft and malicious damage to property, two for robbery, eight for possession of drugs, one for housebreaking, two for assault and contravention of a protection order, one for sexual assault, one for theft under false pretence, seven for theft, three for driving under the influence of liquor, one for contempt of court, three for possession of unlicensed firearm housebreak implements, one for malicious damage to property and business burglary and one for attempted robbery.
