MOTH’s receive accolades for service

Members of Crater Shellhole place a lot of emphasis in fundraising for the benefit of the elderly housed in Witbank Sound Memory Cottages

MOTH Crater Shellhole (founded 1928) Service Awards marked the handing out of MOTH Service ties, ranging from five years to 40 years, to loyal Crater Shellhole Moths. This prestigious ceremony took place on Sunday, August 2.
The Memorial Order of Tin Hats (M.O.T.H.) was founded in 1927 with the major objective of offering a haven of true comradeship, mutual help and sound memory to those veteran soldiers who returned from World War I, later membership was extended to veterans of World War II, Angola and other operations in the war history of South Africa. Members of Crater Shellhole place a lot of emphasis in fundraising for the benefit of the elderly housed in Witbank Sound Memory Cottages.
