Cleaning and working in the garden was part of the International Nelson Mandela Day on July 16 by Kusile Power Station Project, its contractors and members from the community work programme. The cleaning was held on Thursday July 16 at Maloma Primary School.

This year the celebrations were rolled out over two days on July 16 and 17. The project touched the lives of many and gave hope to those less fortunate in and around the local communities. Government officials attended the events.

On July 16 Kusile Project took time out to visit Maloma Primary School where the Kusile team joined hands in cleaning the playground of the school, planting a vegetable garden and handing over much needed stationary to the school. The team moved to other areas where office supplies and office furniture were handed over.
