An accident occurred on the R555 (old Middelburg-Witbank Road) when a truck and a Toyota Hilux bakkie collided at approximately 8:35 on Thursday morning, July 16.
The driver of the Hilux sustained minor to moderate injuries and was transported with Langamed Emergency Management Services to a hospital in eMalahleni. The Hilux was found on the side of the road with the truck approximately 500m from where the accident occurred.
The truck had no noticeable damage and the driver had no injuries. The cause of the accident is still unknown.
