Witbank SPCA has sent out a warning that dogs are being removed from properties all around eMalahleni. Please make sure that you lock your gate when leaving for work or put your pets in a safe part of the yard (behind a second gate).
Ask your domestic workers and gardeners to check if they hear the neighbourhood dogs barking and get the licence plate numbers of any suspicious vehicles.
At this stage the Witbank SPCA can only speculate as to what is happening but please help them by keeping an eye out and reporting it to the SPCA and Police Station. Also, if your neighbourhood has a watch organisation, inform them.
