Swimming pool used as rubbish dump in Ext. 10

A certain area in Extension 10 smells like a rubbish dump, residents in the area have become concerned about the smell which is coming from a swimming pool.

The swimming pool in a garden of one of the homes in Van de Venter Street that has been used as a dumping area for all the residents living there.

In Van de Venter Street a large house that has approximately 40 occupants in it, have started using the swimming pool as a place for their refuge.

Apparently water has been dripping into the swimming pool for months from a hosepipe.
It’s alleged that the residents use the hosepipe to wash their dishes in the swimming pool.
According to the residents living in the area, the smell of rotten food mixed with water and everything else in the swimming pool is disgusting.

“I personally think this house is a risk to the neighbourhood,” said a concerned resident.
People come and go in the house as they like and it is always young people walking in and out this house.
