Elderly left in the dark

For many elderly people living in Eden Park the simple thing like drying their hair was impossible to do.

On Saturday, June 27 at approximately 15:30 the power went off and Eden Park residents were left in the dark.
After numerous phone calls to find out what was happening to the power that day, Eden Park received no answers from doing so.
On Sunday morning, June 28 when the residents woke they still had no power, they went throughout the whole day without power.

The electrical team said that they were working on the situation.
By Monday morning, June 29 everyone in Eden Park woke up once again in the dark.
Late on Monday an update on the electricity was put on Facebook; “The team are busy with the repairs of the cable fault affecting Eden Park, repairs should be completed by 17:00 provided there is no further problems.”

By 16:30 the power was restored and the residents in Eden Park were happy about the power being back on and they could finally get their hair washed and dried.
