Hijacked after collecting diesel

A truck driver was wrapped up in a blanket and placed in bushes by his hijacker.

On Saturday, June 20 at 00:15 Mr Elliot Mohaule was driving a truck towards eMalahleni and as he came into town the truck ran out of diesel.

So Mohaule left the truck where it was and walked over to the petrol station with a 20 litre container.
When he arrived back at the truck, he noticed there was a bakkie parked in front of it and there were three men standing in front of the truck.
One approached Mohaule and the other two went to the truck. While Mohaule was approached by the one suspect, he pulled out his gun.

Mohaule was wrapped up in a blanket and they drove with him to a nearby field where he was dumped.
The truck was then taken; the body of the truck had white and red stripes on it.
A case of hijacking was opened at Witbank Police Station.
