Fully grown baby dumped after birth in the veldt

Members of CPF heard from people around their area of Empumelelweni that they have seen a baby near the N4 Highway.

The baby was found on Monday, June 22 and was apparently wrapped in plastic which had burned after the area was burned as well.
On further investigating they went to the said area and after asking for permission to look in the area of Rondabolt Mine they found the baby. The mine officials were also present when the foetus was found.

The police were then called to the scene and the pathologist took the baby for an autopsy.
The people who informed the members of CPF were in the area collecting wood. The age of the baby could not be established but it seems like a fully grown baby who was dumped after birth.

Police are investigating a case of concealment of birth.
