Steven found dead, family has many questions?

Two weeks after Mr Steven Roux’s (25) disappearance his family members were only notified that his body was found two days after he was reported missing.

Ms Christine Haskins never thought in her wildest dreams that she would have to bury another child, after she buried her first son in 2013.
Two years later Haskins is reliving the same pain as she recently found out that her son Roux was found dead.

On Thursday, June 18 his family members received a phone call notifying them that he was found on June 6.
He was reported missing on Thursday, June 4 after he never arrived at his destination after getting off a bus.
It’s alleged that a bus ticket was bought for Roux and he got on a bus on June 4 from Hazyview from the rehab centre.

Haskins last spoke to her son that morning when he got on the bus and that was the last time she spoke to him.
“According to the autopsy report he died on June 5,” said Ms Michelle Bekker, Roux’s sister.
Roux’s body, covered with a blanket, was found on June 6 in an open field in Brakpan.
Also in the autopsy report, it was said that Roux died of double pneumonia.
“This does not make sense and for that person who said she saw my brother it is a lie because if he died that Thursday she could have never seen him. Something is not adding up here,” said a heart broken Bekker.

On Monday, June 22 a second autopsy was done on Roux as they family still don’t believe that he died of double pneumonia.
“I miss you so damn much and I promise I won’t stop until I find out every single little detail of what happened to you I promise I won’t stop! And whoever had a part in your death I will make sure they go to jail. I love you so much,” said Bekker on her Facebook page.

Roux funeral will be held on Friday, June 26 at 11:00 from the NG Kerk Kriel.
