Blanket distribution by Rotary Club

The Rotary Club of Witbank/Emalahleni has distributed over 600 blankets to organisations, churches and schools in the greater eMalahleni area to help cope with the onset of winter.

Now that the cold has arrived, the receiving of just one blanket can make an enormous difference in the lives of those hardest hit by the drop in temperatures.
With that in mind the Rotary Club of Witbank/Emalahleni has for years distributed blankets to people in need and this year is no exception.

Local recipients of blankets are:
*Witbank Town Centre (160 blankets) – Roman Catholic Cathedral (50 blankets); Oasis Church (70 blankets) for the town and Spring Valley; St. Thomas Aquinas Interact Club (20 blankets); SANCA (20 blankets).
*Ackerville and Lynville (160 blankets) – Roman Catholic (Ackerville) 50 blankets; Anglican Church 50 blankets; Kopanang School  Interact Club 40 blankets and Mthimkulu Old Age Home 20 blankets.
