N4 crash needs big clean up operation
All but one lane on the highway was closed off.
Two BMW’s were involved in a collision on the N4. Emergency services had close off all but one lane on the highway just before the Mandela Road off ramp while cleaning up the debris and wreckage from the road.
It is alleged that on May 23 at midday a silver BMW travelling towards Middelburg lost control of his vehicle and crashed into another car travelling behind him before being thrown out of him own vehicle. The driver was seriously injured and it is suspected that he was not wearing a seat belt.
The traffic flowed slowly thought the single open lane until the scene was cleared.
