He was apparently sleeping alone after the father left early in the morning for work on Wednesday, April 22.
The child is usually under the care of his aunt during the day, when the father goes to work.
A neighbour saw flames coming from the shack and rushed to extinguish the fire so they could save the boy, but unfortunately it was too late as the little one had been burnt beyond recognition.
Reasons for what might have caused the fire are unknown.
