Children held up at gunpoint at home

A mother received a devastating phone call from her daughter that they had just been held up at home at gunpoint and the suspects took most of the items from the home.

On Friday, April 24 at approximately 15:45 two children from the Ramowabi family aged 16 and 10 years old were at home alone.
Ms Cynthia Ramowabi (54) rushed home and found her children at the neighbours house, crying and in a state of shock.

Her children informed her that a grey Audi stopped in front of the home and two unknown men came to the house.
They asked the children where their mother was, and they said that she was at work.
The suspects pulled out a gun, pointed it at the children and demanded that they open the door.

Once the suspects were inside the house, they took various items and also the children’s cell phones.
No shots were fired and the children went to their neighbour’s house after the robbery.
