Chairs donations to stimulation centre

A foreign businessperson has donated some chairs to a stimulation centre.

Mr Tariq Salim donated 50 chairs to Malihlongolono Stimulation Centre in KwaGuqa Extension 10. He is also providing the centre with R500 monthly groceries and he is planning to put up a borehole to supply water to the whole community in Ward 23.

Cllr Tebogo Mabula thanked business people who plough back to the community.
He said it was a good gesture and Mr Salim has always supported the community projects whenever called to do so.
“He has shown that he is now part of us and despite the attacks against foreigners in some parts of the country, as Ward 23 we are against the attacks,” stated Cllr Mabula.

Mr Salim thanked the community members and Ms Anna Thage for taking care of children at the centre.
She said Ms Thage was doing a great job, and the role she was playing of being a mother to all the children under her care.
Mr Salim added that they were prepared to help by offering training local business people so that they can sustain their business and offer support as well.
