Mr Mofokeng (34) is feeling great after he lost so much weight, but that came at a great effort. He said he won the prize after three months of blood, sweat and tears and beating 12 other hopefuls.

Mr Mofokeng is a husband and a father to a girl and two boys. He joined the television show called ‘Boot Camp Mzansi Celebrity Edition’ on Mzansi Magic. They compete in the loss weight programme, which started in early January year. Participants were auditioned, eight out of 13 were picked to compete and stayed in a house for 11 weeks. In the house their weight was monitored on daily basis.
They also trained and were expected to eat a balanced meal and a healthy diet. He was only allowed five minutes to talk to his family during the time they were in the house.

Mr Mokokeng weighed 104kg in October and presently his weight has come down to 72kg. He said he learned a lot of things about eating habits and the importance of training.
He said people should try and understand the food they are eating every day. He said his life took a dramatic change for the better, he now has confidence and things look promising for him because he has managed to secure a place in the top three.
They were allowed to train on their own for eight weeks and the results will be announced later.
“I did my best, even though it was a tough call, bringing the title home.”

Mofokeng has also started a training programme with a group of about 80 people in Phola. They face a challenge because they do not have the proper training equipment.
