#sitin48h who is Charlene Beech?

First seven hours of the CANSA car-sit-in has passed.

During the sit in, we had some time to catch up with the participants of the CANSA car-sit-in.  One of the four participants is Charlene Beech.  This is how she answered her #sitin48h questionnaire –

INTRODUCE YOURSELF
My name is Charlene beech. I am a  22 year old teacher.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT YOUR PROFESSION?
Working with the children. It is the best thing of being a teacher.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE LEAST?
Naughty children makes you negative but I just remind myself all the time why I am in this profession.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DOING THIS?
Since 2011. That will make it my 5th year.

WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY?
I am a happy go lucky person.  Easy going and always up for a challenge.  I guess that’s what makes me happy.

IF YOU COULD GO BACK IN TIME, WHAT WOULD YOU DO DIFFERENTLY?
Mmm.. I don’t think I would do anything different, God’s plan with my life is perfect.

WHO ARE YOUR HEROES?
My mom is my hero. She was a person I would also look up to.

WHO DO YOU HAVE NO RESPECT FOR?
A person who talks about me, but doesn’t even know me. Don’t judge me.

WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME?
I study, spend quality time with my boyfriend and family and friends and my doggy kids.

DO YOU DO ANY VOLUNTEER WORK?
I love going to the children’s home and spend time with them and make them feel special.

HOW HAVE YOU CHANGED?
Yes, I think I have become a person who is more open and has a better outlook on life.

WHAT’S THE SIDE OF YOU THAT THE PUBLIC NEVER SEES?
Me in my nighties..

HOW HARD DO YOU PUSH YOURSELF?
I used to be very hard on myself but I have gotten much better. I am still hard on myself on certain stuff but know where I need to stop.

WHEN ARE YOU COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH YOUR WORK?
When I know I did my best.

WHAT’S THE MAGIC FORMULA FOR SUCCESS?
Be yourself.

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT CANCER?
Cancer is like a thief in the night. I don’t like it at all..
