The Witbank 911 group responded to the call with the help of SAPS and they managed to apprehend the suspect.
On Tuesday, January 6 at approximately 12:30 Witbank 911 received a call for help from the parking lot at Builders Warehouse.
A community member noticed that three suspects were allegedly stealing spare wheels from parked vehicles.
Witbank 911 response teams responded to the call and managed to chase the vehicle onto the N12 highway towards Ogies.
Five units responded along with two community members. The vehicle was boxed in and once SAPS arrived on scene the suspects were arrested.
The bakkie is alleged to have been stolen.
