98.4 % for Hoërskool Patriot

There was lots of excitement all around the school grounds as last year’s matriculates received their results after a long wait.

Celebrating with joy - Angel Morgets celebrates with her friend Thembi Moriri from Hoërskool Patriot, who passed her matric exam with flying colours.

On Tuesday, January 6 the results were released and Patriot pass rate is 98.4 percent.

Altogether 31 percent passed with Bachelors admissions and the school obtained 100 percent pass rate for Mathematics.
Wesley Naidu obtained five distinctions, Mathematics (89%), Physical Sciences (94%), Accounting (95%), Life Sciences (92%), Life Orientation (86%). He also passed Afrikaans (79%) and English (75%).

Nombulelo Heshu, Banele Madonsela and Ntokozo Mhlangeni all received three distinctions.
