The Ridge winner donates prize money
The Ridge Casino Black Cardholder, Judith van der Merwe, who won R5 000 in The Ridge Top 50 Black Cardholder’s draw at the end of November, chose to donate her winnings to local old age home Immergroen Ouetehuis.
The Ridge Casino Marketing Manager, Thapelo Modise said: “This is a true act of kindness which really warms the heart. Judith’s actions stand testament to the fact that we can all play a part in improving the lives of those less fortunate.
“We at The Ridge encourage the generosity Judith has shown, which will have such a positive effect on the lives of the community’s elderly who live at Immergroen.”
