Another Merc in the wall
“We woke up to the sound of a huge crash,” said Ms Nicole van Wyk.
On December 7, at about 02:15 a white Mercedes Bens ML350 crashed through Van Wyk’s walls at their home in Steenkamp Street.
“I saw the driver get out of the car, she looked a bit shaken up. She said she was fine but struggled to stand,” said Van Wyk.
The Van Wyks contacted the police who arrived only an hour later at their home. Provincial ambulance transported Ms Xolisiwe Nkambule to Life Cosmos Hospital where she was treated for bruising.
Nkambule was unavailable for comment at time of print, however according to the accident report, Nkambule was travelling down Birkholtz Street when she allegedly lost control of her vehicle and crashed through the wall at the T-junction.
