Recently Vosman Police officers recovered a firearm and ammunition at KG Mall in Vosman.
The items were recovered on Friday, October 31, thanks to swift action by Constables J. Masilela, B.G. Shawe and S.S. Mokheseng.
Police say effective patrol at the mall led to the arrest. The police followed on information and managed to arrest Mr Richard Thobela (67), who was in possession of a Norinco pistol and five rounds of ammunition without a licence.
He was charged with unlawful possession of firearm and ammunition.
