A shooting incident occured at Mabande Secondary School at about 14:52 on October 23.
The principal confirmed that a male student was shot, but it is still unclear who shot him and why the shooting took place.
Allegedly a fight broke out between two pupils, the one pulled out a gun and shot the other in his stomach.
Ogies police are still on scene investigating the situation.
ER24 responded to the call and stabilized the victim on scene and was taken to Witbank Provincial Hospital’s casualty unit where doctors and nurses waited for him.
He currently remains critical in casualty.
