Arrests could be linked to Mthembu’s shooting

Not even a day later three alleged suspects were arrested.

Not even a day later after the shooting incident of Mr Jackson Mthembu Former ANC spokesperson that occurred in Mandela Street at an Automatic Teller Machine, three alleged suspects were arrested.

Mpumalanga Community Safety, Security and Liaison MEC Vusi Shongwe urged the police to urgently investigate and arrest all suspects linked to the shooting.

The arrests were made in Limpopo town on Monday, October 20 at 22:30 and the suspects are being questioned over the shooting.

The men had stolen property in their possession including a laptop, cell phones and bank cards.

Mthembu was drawing money at an ATM on Mandela Street on Sunday evening when he was approached by an armed man who demanded that he draw all his money from his account.
