Robbed at traffic light

Robbed in Smuts Street of personal belongings

A 43-year-old woman and her friend were travelling along Smuts Street when they were robbed at a robot.
The incident happened on Friday, October 10 when the complainant was driving her blue Ford Fiesta with her windows open, as they were smoking.

They got stuck in traffic and tried to take an alternative route. As they were near a certain shop two unknown men approached them.

One went to the driver’s side of the car and threatened her with a knife. He managed to grab hold of the keys, but the driver managed to get the keys back.

As the other suspect went to the passenger side, he pulled out a firearm and took her handbag that had all her personal belongings in it and they ran away.

The suspects have not been arrested.
