Residents living in Del Judor Extension 4 are becoming worried about the safety in the area, as the second house in a week was hit by armed robbers.

The incident happened on Friday, September 19 at 19:10 in Ina Street.
Mr Albertus Booyse said he was in his garage with his father when they noticed four armed men standing in the garden.
Three of the men were armed with pistols and one was armed with a shotgun.

Booyse and his father were ordered to lie down and they were tied up with heavy duty cable ties.
One of the men asked for car keys and three of the suspects gained access into the house.

They took three wallets, a large sum of money, two name brand wrist watches and a tablet. Once everything was loaded into the Booyse’s Nissan Navara bakkie, the men drove away with it.

Police visited the scene, while other policemen gave chase to the stolen vehicle.
The bakkie was later recovered in Mamelodi and two or three suspects were arrested.

Last week Tuesday, September 9 the White family were held up in their home in Hester Street by three armed men.
