A church in Vosman was the first building to be demolished – one of the many illegal structures to be torn down.
In an effort to clear the city of illegal houses and structures built without permits, the Local Municipality started this project in Vosman on Monday September 22.
Some of the community members were outraged by the destruction of this place of worship. Members of the municipality was undeterred and meant that every illegal structure costs the city thousands each month.
