According to witnesses, the driver of the vehicle was relatively unharmed when he jumped out of the wreck and ran away from the accident scene.

Two vehicles rolled on the N4 in separate incidents over the weekend.

The stretch of N4 between the Ferrobank off-ramp and the Black Hill off-ramp saw two separate incidents occur where a single vehicle was involved in an accident and rolled.

The first incident occurred on August 22 at about 19:30. It is unclear as to what exactly caused the driver to lose control since no other vehicles were involved.

According to Langamed Emergency Management, who transported the patient, he was not critically injured. The vehicle rolled off the road and landed on its roof underneath a tree next to the road.

The second incident occurred on Sunday, August 24 at about 15:30.

Emergency services had to clear the road as the wrecked vehicle came to a standstill in the middle of the road. Police are investigating the incident.
