Three-vehicle collision takes life

A tragic accident that involved three vehicles claimed another life on the old Middelburg road.

On Saturday, August 2 ambulance services were called to the scene where the wrecks of the vehicles were found.

It was reported that two of the vehicles, a Hilux bakkie and a Nissan Juke, were travelling towards Middelburg and a 1400 bakkie was heading towards eMalahleni when the collision occurred.

It was alleged that the tyre of the 1400 bakkie burst, causing it to collide with the Hilux bakkie.

The Hilux bakkie allegedly overturned, which caused the collision with the Juke. The passengers and drivers of the vehicles were transported to hospital. One of the passengers in the 1400 bakkie, Christopher Chiloane, did not survive the collision.

Chiloane will be missed by his family and all who knew him.
