Child Welfare receives a generous donation

Child Welfare relies mostly on donations and handouts to see to it that children are well taken care of.

On Wednesday, July 16 the organisation received an undisclosed amount of money as a donation from Scribante.
The cheque was brought over by a representative, Dinasen Palavor.

Ms Alrinah Kleinhans, the organisations’ manager, said: “We are very grateful to receive this money. It might be a drop in the ocean for the big companies, but to us and the children it makes a huge difference in the improvement of their lives.”

Ms Kleinhans also added that the money received would be going towards a training programme that has been developed to help the children in personality and character development.
